history
OUR JOURNEY STARTS IN 2022
ORIGINS
One truck, bought second-hand and wrapped by a local artist with the hand-drawn burger parts you still see on the side of it. The first season was the waterfront and not much else. We learned what sold, cut everything that did not, and came back the next May with a shorter board.
STORY
Taylor started Smashed YXY in 2022 because Whitehorse had plenty of places to eat and not many places to get a properly made burger in under fifteen minutes. The idea was narrow on purpose: a smash patty with a real crust, a bun that holds together, cheddar that is actually cheddar, and fries worth ordering on their own.

Fireweed Community Market
Thursday afternoons through the summer, alongside the produce stalls.
